Barbells & Beers, created in 2020 by an British Army combat veteran after an 8 year career serving Queen and country. 

After leaving the military, like most veterans the struggle to fit into civilian life was all so real. Working jobs that just didn't feel quite right.

So, one day whist working in such a job, an idea began to grow.....

During my time in the military I worked in many different roles, from driving tanks, to being a front line recce soldier, even counselling to help fellow soldiers struggling with trauma.

Although it was a later role that would lead to the path of BB.

I had a keen interest in fitness and this progressed towards boxing. I became a coach and managed a successful regimental boxing team.

The role required me to design and source team boxing attire and from this seed the concept of Barbells & Beers was born.

This idea continued to grow until pencil was put to paper and sketches turned into logos, but what could I call this idea....

With fitness now being a key part of who I was, combined with a love for life and a new found need to live it, a work hard play hard mentality was born.

After seeing the horror of war and having to accept that today could be the last an urge to make it count became a rule to live by.....

Barbells & Beers became clear in my mind-

Barbells - the work hard fitness element of my personality.

Beers - the fun 'don't take life too serious' side.

Together they bridge a gap in the market.

Existing brands telling you to train and look a certain way, to eat and stick to strict diets.

We prefer to push a 'train your way' mentality, to do what works for you, but also to never forget the balance of fun and enjoyment.

Do what makes you smile, work hard but play just as hard, we're here once so make it count....

We are new to the industry, but we are growing, we don't stop working on the dream, new designs are constantly in the works, learning to become better.

We started our journey with sketches of logos for caps, this same logo is now on many different products with more in development.

We built Barbells & Beers for the less obsessed and we are so glad you have decided to join us on our journey. 💪🍻
